Thank you for your interest in a rescue cat!
All of you grumpy old men (or women) that are looking for a great companion...here is Onyx. Grumpy, opinionated, non obedient (although he does follow me when I say "come" and lays down when I ask him nicely), loves to be petted (when HE wants to be petted), will sit with you or follow you around, then sits (or lies) there looking regal and proud when done investigating.
Onyx was picked up at a trailer park in Toledo. He had been locked in an abandoned trailer for several weeks, then once discovered left to roam the park. His huge ears and intense yellow eyes make him look like Toothless from How to Train Your Dragon. Onyx is best with no other cats but is good with my dogs AND leaves my bird in his cage alone. He would not be good with small children as he has a mind of his own. Onyx uses his litter box, sleeps well at night and eats both dry and wet food. He is up to date with vaccinations, neutered, wormed, and tested negative for FeLV and FIP. Ornery....mmmm, could be, but if you are, too...if you have a mind of your own and want a big, black cat to match you....here he is! If you are interested in meeting or adopting Onyx, please contact Michelle at 419-276-4910.
