Thank you for your interest in a rescue cat!
Onyx is a sleek, fat, 15 pound, long bodied, pitch black, yellow eyed, shiny coated adult (4 years?) male cat with an attitude. He has settled down pretty well after being with my other cats and two dogs for several months. He was found in a beat up trailer park after having been locked in an empty trailer for 4 weeks. You know he is upset when you actually hear his tail hit the floor!
He now sleeps on the back of the couch during the day and in his bed at night.
Onyx doesnt really play, but I found he goes nuts with a lazer light AND the light from a flashlight!
Onyx would not be good with children under 10 unless its one of those kids that has a weird affiliation with cats and somehow can almost speak to them! He is not very vocal unless another cat jumps on him, then he sounds like a banshee in a graveyard.
Onyx is fine with most of the other cats, great with my dogs...pretty much ignores them....
Onyx is a very particular cat meant for a very specific person. Maybe a watch cat for your grandpa! If you are interested in meeting or adopting Onyx, please contact Michelle at 419-276-4910.
