Thank you for your interest in a rescue cat!
My name is Evan. I am a black male kitten and was born in March of 2017. I was found living under a lady's porch with my mom & 3 siblings. My mom had been someone's pet, but we were born outside and had not really been around people, so my foster mom had to set a trap to catch us. Luckily she was able to get all us to a safe indoor home within a few days. We were covered in fleas and a little underweight, but otherwise healthy. She also worked to socialize us with people as we were pretty scared at first. At first I did not want to be held or petted, but now I will accept human affection. However, I am still a little shy & it takes me a little bit to warm up, so you need to have patience with me. I still don't like to be held for long, but that's because I am such a busy boy! I am an on-the-go guy who loves to run, jump, & play. I like to wrestle and play with my siblings and my mom, and am good with the other cats at my foster home. I have not been around dogs, but have been around older children. My velvety soft fur & adorable white markings will win your heart. I can be adopted with any of my siblings or my mom, but I am good on my own as well. Will you be the one to give me my "furr-ever" home? If you are interested in meeting or adopting Evan, please contact foster, Sue at 419-250-0846.
