Happily Ever After

My name is Lulu and boy, do I love this living in a house gig! You see, I lived on the streets for at least a year (some say longer) and some nice folks put some food in a crate and caught me. My foster family has been so patient with me. I have a nice crate where I used to spend a lot of time because I was scared, but now I like to be closer to the other dogs and my foster parents. Even though I lived on the streets, I only potty outside! My foster parents can't believe it! I like to sleep in my crate at night and when my foster family is working. I’m going to need someone who will be patient and give me time to get used to my new environment. I am going to be getting a haircut soon and then I will need regular grooming so my fur stays nice and healthy. Foster mom says my forever home has to have a fence because I do better doing my “business” when I am not on a leash. There are three other dogs in my foster home and I get along with them just fine. Foster mom says she doesn’t know how I would do with a cat or kids because we don’t have any here. I liked the neighbor kids when they came to the fence to meet me though. I really hope I will find a patient family without a lot of chaos. I feel better when things are calm, must be because I was constantly watching my back when I was living on the streets.
