Happily Ever After

Zane is a super sweet one year old Pittie mix. He absolutely loves dogs! He doesn't quite understand personal space while playing, though. He can be a little rough while playing with his dog friends but we are working on this. He loves all people, young and old. He gets along great with the 5 year old in his foster home, but due to his energetic nature his foster mom recommends keeping an eye on him with small children so he doesn't accidentally knock them over. He doesn't mean to be so clumsy, he's just a big goof! He is very happy all the time but can put on a pretty good pouty face! Plus he is so handsome it's hard not to just wanna smooch him! He is learning that cats just don't want to be played with (most of the time) and he is super interested in trying to sniff them when he can. He will chase after the cats if they run from him but will stop when given a correction, too. He just wants to play with them and figure out why they don't want to play back! He loves to snuggle and be right by your side as much as he can. He does walk well on a leash; he starts out wanting to pull but when corrected he will walk right by your side. He can jump a baby gate but he has never tried to jump our fence in the yard even with playmates next door. Zane will make the perfect dog for anyone who is willing to give him the time and love he needs to continue learning some basic manners.
