Mae is a beautiful, 5-year-old sweetheart with a story that tugs at the heart. After losing her beloved owner, Mae has been adjusting in foster care and is now searching for a new forever home where she can once again feel safe and loved.

Mae is playful and affectionate — she especially enjoys pats on her back end, which make her so happy she’ll sometimes do somersaults! She loves being the center of attention and would prefer to be the only pet in the home, as she hasn’t cohabitated well with other cats.

Mae is FIV positive, but please don’t let that scare you. FIV is only transmitted through deep bite wounds, and it has never caused Mae a single health problem in her life. She has never required treatment for it, and cats with FIV can live long, healthy, and happy lives.

All of our cats and kittens have been tested for FIV, FeLk and parasites (and treated, if needed). Our adoption fee includes those tests, spay/neuter, flea preventative and all age-appropriate shots (including Rabies).
