Millie - ADOPTED
Millie is a puppy mill survivor who is adjusting to life with a foster family. She loves other dogs and will run around and play with them for long periods of time, but when a human comes near her, her tail goes between her legs and she runs off. She has shown improvement in the few short days at her foster home, working up to a (very careful) smelling of human hands before pulling back. She shows no interest in playing with toys, they seem very foreign to her. She seems most comfortable in her crate. Millie's ideal home will be with a very patient and calm family who will allow her to trust them. Ideally, although not necessary, another dog in the home will be advantageous. Millie has so much potential to be an amazing pet with a little bit of work and patience! If you can provide the calm, stable environment she craves, apply today!
