Casper - ADOPTED
Talk about a transformation! After 7 months in our care, we are thrilled to announce that Casper is ready for his forever home! A resilient 3.5 year old Border Collie who who came into our program in April as a stray, his journey has been nothing short of incredible. After a few close calls and flight attempts, he was safely returned (three separate times!) and has since completed heartworm treatment *and* dedicated training in the Toledo Correctional Institution Dog Foster Program. Now, this brave boy is ready to find a loving, patient home of his own!
His foster says he’s beginning to trust again and finds comfort with other dogs, though a quiet home would be ideal. Casper would do best in a home with a secure, non-climbable (yes, he can scale them!), 6-foot fenced area, and he’ll need a family willing to take it slow with leash and lead training.
His adoption fee has been fully sponsored, and some training classes will also be included with his adoption. Apply for this special guy today!
