Hi, I’m Upton! I was found emaciated on the side of the road, eating out of a takeout container in the cold rain. Despite my rough start, I’m sweet as can be and just want to be around my people! My foster mom believes that I’m young because I’m so silly and quirky, and walk like a baby deer. I get along with most dogs that I meet, but can sometimes feel defensive, and protective over my food with other dogs because of how starving I was on the streets. I live with 2 other dog brothers and we are fed separately so that everybody is safe, and we all coexist so well now and play all the time! I didn’t know any basic commands when my foster mom found me but she is working with me on my manners and teaching me how to be a polite gentleman! I am learning how to be a dog again so I am a work in progress, but I am worth all the love and patience put into me!
