Bambina

Bambina is a young Chihuahua, just around 1 year old, who has already endured more than most dogs should in a lifetime. She was one of 15 Chihuahuas abandoned in a remote area, left to survive on their own. Thankfully, a group of kindhearted Good Samaritans worked tirelessly to safely trap them all, and now Bambina is finally safe and beginning her journey toward healing.
Right now, Bambina is very shy and unsure of the world around her. It’s clear that she hasn’t had much kindness in her past—but we believe with time, patience, and a gentle, loving home, she will blossom into a wonderful companion.
She needs a calm, understanding environment where she can feel secure and take things at her own pace. With the right person by her side—someone who sees past the fear and believes in her potential—Bambina has every chance to become a loyal and loving best friend.
If you have a quiet home and a big heart, Bambina may just be the dog who needs you most. Bambina will be available after she’s been spayed.
Please note: this dog has potentially not yet received their initial medical evaluation and/or spay/neuter surgery. We encourage you to submit an application while we wait for a full picture of their health to share with you. Adoptions will be finalized once Planned Pethood processes have all been fully satisfied. Your patience with our new process is greatly appreciated. We are trying to enhance our process in order to find new homes more quickly and to cut down on the amount of time an animal is in our program. Thank you for working with us to accomplish this goal.
