Buddy

Buddy is a one-year-old, 15 pound, delightful, snuggly, sweet and playful little fellow who is closely bonded with his brother Biscuit (but without showing littermate syndrome issues!). His foster is committed to finding a home where they can be adopted together, as they do derive comfort and courage from one another. These brothers came from a situation where they were kind of on their own outside, so they can be fearful and defensive in new situations. Buddy still has some stranger-danger reactions when meeting new people but warms up a bit more quickly than his brother. There is real fear of new dogs, but he has made tremendous progress in just a short time. It won’t be long before he will be ready for adoption! Once he trusts you, he wants nothing more than to be with you as much as possible. He is playful, sweet and silly, full of kisses, and loves to be held and hugged and cuddled. He’s also a big fan of the water and loves to go swimming! This sweet, incredibly affectionate, playful little guy is going to make a wonderful companion for the right person!
Please note: this dog has potentially not yet received their initial medical evaluation and/or spay/neuter surgery. We encourage you to submit an application while we wait for a full picture of their health to share with you. Adoptions will be finalized once Planned Pethood processes have all been fully satisfied. Your patience with our new process is greatly appreciated. We are trying to enhance our process in order to find new homes more quickly and to cut down on the amount of time an animal is in our program. Thank you for working with us to accomplish this goal.
