Charlie - ADOPTED

Charlie is a big, sweet boy who is a black lab mix with long hair. He gets along great with dogs, even smaller ones, and doesn’t necessarily need a dog pal, but if he has one, he does great. He is great with kids of all ages. So far he knows where to go when we take him outside and if taken out regularly, has no accidents but will need some consistency for house training. He’s good at sharing his toys with humans and dogs and eats nicely with other animals and humans. He still needs some work walking on a leash as he doesn’t have much experience and sometimes gets spooked outside. He rides nicely in car and will look out the window and sit on your lap. So far, he does need a fence as he might try to run outside when he gets scared but as he gets more confident, he may not. He prefers to be near humans. He has a lot of energy and really likes moving around but is pretty calm for a puppy. His energy level from 1-5 would probably be a 3.5. He’s such a good boy and trusting of humans for being a stray. He needs a loving home to help him continue to grow in his confidence. He will make a great companion and addition to any family. Apply today!
