Aleu - ADOPTED
At 9 months old, Aleu is a Husky/Shepherd mix and is still figuring out the world — preferably by following another dog who already knows what’s going on. New places and new people can make her a little shy at first, but once she settles in, she’s a sweet, goofy girl who just wants to be near her humans... ideally on the couch.
She absolutely loves other dogs and takes her “monkey see, monkey do” approach to life very seriously. When left alone for long periods she gets anxious, but a daily dose of medication has improved her separation anxiety! She will benefit from staying on this at least until she learns to trust her new humans! The perfect home would have someone home most of the day so she doesn’t have to be alone for extended periods.
Her hobbies include:
• Following you from room to room like a Velcro dog
• Supervising all couch activities
• Getting the zoomies!
• Stealing all the snacks
She’ll thrive in a patient home with another friendly dog to show her the ropes and humans who understand that the shy girls are often the sweetest ones. Plus she has a special adoption fee! Could you be the right fit for this sweet girl?
Aleu's adoption fee is sponsored by a generous friend to our program.
