Calliope
This beautiful 4-month-old Doberman puppy has already shown more resilience and determination than most dogs do in a lifetime. She was born without a rectum or a natural pathway to pass stool, but thanks to the incredible team at Perrysburg Animal Hospital, she was given the structure she needed to use the bathroom and has been thriving ever since.
She is the sweetest, most soulful little puppy you’ll ever meet. With her gentle nature, loving heart, and expressive eyes, she has a way of making everyone she meets fall in love with her. She’s incredibly smart, eager to please, and approaches each day with courage and curiosity.
Because of her congenital condition, she may always have special needs and may require ongoing monitoring or management as she grows. However, she doesn’t let her challenges define her. She is learning, adapting, and working hard to be the very best version of herself. Calliope's adoption fee is sponsored to help her find her forever home.
This remarkable girl is looking for a family that will appreciate her resilient spirit and give her the love and support she deserves. In return, she’ll bring endless affection, companionship, and joy. She is truly one of a kind and will make an extraordinary addition to a very lucky family. ❤️🐾
