Georgia Peach - ADOPTED
At 14 years young, Georgia Peach is proof that the sweetest things in life only get better with age.
This beautiful Golden Retriever/Husky mix has been through a heartbreaking loss after her beloved owner passed away. Despite everything, she greets everyone she meets with a happy smile, a wagging tail, and so much love to give.
Georgia Peach is the definition of an easy companion. She's:
Wonderfully sweet and affectionate
Completely housebroken
Doesn't need a crate—she has perfect house manners
Great with kids
Friendly with other dogs
Calm, gentle, and content just being near her people
Like many senior dogs, Georgia has lost her hearing, but it doesn't slow her down one bit. She happily follows your lead, enjoys affection, and settles in wherever she's loved.
Georgia does have a tumor on her front leg that is presumed to be cancer. Due to its location, it cannot be surgically removed. The good news is that it is not causing her pain, and she's comfortable and enjoying life. Right now, what she needs most isn't more procedures—it's a soft bed, kind hands, and a family willing to give her the love she deserves for whatever time she has left.
Senior dogs have a way of loving with their whole hearts, and Georgia Peach is no exception. She isn't looking for forever in years—she's looking for forever in love.
If you can open your heart and home to this gentle soul, you'll be giving her the greatest gift imaginable: comfort, security, and the chance to spend her golden days surrounded by people who love her. Her adoption fee is sponsored to help her find her furever home.
