Nemo is a young Chocolate Lab mix who is a super sweet and goofy boy looking for his forever home. Nemo was found as a stray. He was limping on a rear leg, and following surgery, he is rehabbing at this time. The leg does not cause him any pain and he races around the yard with absolute ease. He is a nice, nice boy that will make someone an excellent companion. He has a good energy level, gets along well with cats and is an overall pretty mellow dude. He should be an only dog as he is dominant over other dogs and does not do well with them. Nemo loves to be loved. He will sit with you on the couch, lying on his back with his feet in the air sleeping while you watch tv or read. He learns house patterns quickly. Nemo is housetrained and does not chew, dig or bark. He is not happy being in a crate but an enclosed room is good. He rides very well in the car, and walks well on a leash. He is not food aggressive and takes treats nicely. Nemo plays with his toys and is learning basic commands. A fenced yard would be best for him.
