Oscar
Oscar was found abandoned at the age of 5 weeks. As of august 19, he is 17 weeks old. He has a cute stub of a tail that must have happened traumatically at a very young age. He is a true lover boy!! He wants to sleep on your chest or your head! He plays well with others kittens and is just a gentle soul. He is FIV positive and very healthy.
FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) is transmitted by deep bite wounds - NOT through litterbox, food or water. As long as an FIV infected cat is in a stable home environment where the cats aren't aggressively fighting, the risk of transmission is very low. FIV cats can live long, healthy and happy lives, and FIV is not transmittable to humans or dogs. If you already have an FIV cat and are looking for a friend for them, or if you would only have one cat in your home, we encourage you to give an FIV cat the opportunity for a loving, stable home environment!
