Sophia

We rescued four Shih Tzus from a closing puppy mill and to our surprise Sophia was pregnant. She is a good mama and has been taking excellent care of her babies. She is almost ready to transition from being a mom to living her own independent life. She is probably the happiest Shih Tzu you’ll ever meet, her tail is always wagging. Potty training and leash walking are still very new to her so she will need a patient home as she learns. She is good with the other dogs in her home, and doesn’t seem to mind the friendly neighborhood cat that hangs around. Her favorite thing is collecting toys. Apply today!
Please note: this dog has potentially not yet received their initial medical evaluation and/or spay/neuter surgery. We encourage you to submit an application while we wait for a full picture of their health to share with you. Adoptions will be finalized once Planned Pethood processes have all been fully satisfied. Your patience with our new process is greatly appreciated. We are trying to enhance our process in order to find new homes more quickly and to cut down on the amount of time an animal is in our program. Thank you for working with us to accomplish this goal.
