Calista is a gentle and sociable girl who gets along well with other dogs and loves being around people. Her favorite pastime is cuddling with her humans, making her the perfect companion for someone who wants a loyal and affectionate friend. She’s always ready for a belly rub. And she loves going for car rides. Calista has been housebroke since being in her foster home. She’s not a fan of being on a leash, so she’ll need a bit of patience in that area. Additionally, she has a funny habit of barking at the TV when animals are on the screen—just one of her many adorable quirks!

Calista is currently undergoing treatment for heartworm, which means she's available for adoption under a foster-to-adopt arrangement. This setup allows a local adopter to bring her home while ensuring she continues her treatment with the vet. Her foster mom can give you more details on the treatment.
