Twinkle Toes
Twinkle Toes is a 1-year-old shepherd mix with a big heart and an even bigger spirit. She came to us from a breeder situation where too many puppies were produced, leaving her as one of the “leftovers.” Despite her young age, Twinkle Toes was already showing signs of poor genetics, including abnormal movement in her back legs.
She was diagnosed with hip dysplasia early in life and has since undergone FHO (Femoral Head Ostectomy) surgery on one hip. Twinkle Toes is currently in rehabilitation, continuing to build strength and mobility. While her gait may always look a little different, she gets around well and doesn’t let it hold her back.
Personality-wise, Twinkle Toes is a delight. She loves people, greets everyone with enthusiasm, and has a sweet, loyal nature. She’s playful, goofy, and affectionate — the kind of dog who will happily stumble into your lap for cuddles.
Twinkle Toes is looking for a committed, understanding home that can support her ongoing recovery and provide the love and stability she deserves. In return, she’ll be a devoted and joyful companion.
